ummm...vogue?

okay so I purchased the famous September issue of Vogue today to find inspiration for my future fashion finds at Walmart. (And yes, I purchased the Vogue mag while I was at Walmart picking up my groceries! :)) however, after looking through it I am very disappointed...this stuff is soooo high fashion that it isn't something that I think me or my friends would wear and I think we are all pretty cute. So I am working on taking what I see and finding something that I can merge to reality and then I am going shopping!!! Stay tuned for the pics of my inspiration pieces. It could take me a while to pick them out of this vogue....oy ve! wish me luck!

Cant we all have it?

So I am under the belief that we can all have great stylish clothes at an incredibly reasonable price. I have challenged myself to go to walmart once a week for the next 52 weeks to shop and recreate a high fashion Nordstroms or Neimans look. Neimans, really? Well, I don't know and I am a bit nervous about making that statement, but I won't know unless I try. Join me on this high fashion journey where I find out what Walmart really has to offer. I think we will all be surprised, but maybe pleasantly. This economy hurts, but our fashion shouldn't! :)
